The location was perfect
Very overpriced for what it is. Very small room. Check in closes at 10pm so they were not very happy that we couldnt arrive on time with our flight being delayed. The cleaner somehow smashed my electric toothbrush.

King Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the city centre and a major transport hub. Staff was helpful and nice. The room was decent - small but clean and well maintained.
The breakfast is a joke. The reception lady basically is in charge of stocking the breakfast table too. For the first 1/2 hour there might be a few slices of cheap cheese and salami available to the hotel guests. By 9 there's only cereal left. (Maybe a good thing since it's actually healthier than the cheap cheese) Coffee is scarce too.

I particularly appreciated the location close to Jordaan and the quiteness of the street
The room is small, the toilet in particular is super small. Breakfast is not excellent.

The location of the Hotel is very good, near Leidseplain very close to the centre. From the room was possible to see the canal. Breakfast was good. It is possible to make tea or coffee in the room.
Room not very big, there was just one towel for each one. The bathroom sink was very tiny, so you could just wash your hand inside. Only dispenser soap also in the shower.

the location's just brilliant, a couple of blocks from Leidsplein square!
I didn't know they don't take debit cards, so I learnt I had to pay up front when checking in, in cash or credit card -though credit cards have a 15% of charge!

We liked the room. It was comfortable. It had 2 beds with view out window, a very nice bathroom, small but 2 people could use at same time. They provided coffee in room. Hotel was well located on canal but close to tram stop. The breakfast was basic, but good. Security was good as a door key was required to enter after dark.We found the elevator to room very convenient.
One discomfort was lack of towels. There were only 2 and they were not of great quality.

The friendly reception staff were happy to advise me on the local area, where to find things and how to get there. For a city centre hotel there was very little noise, I had a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms were excellent value.

I koved the view over the canal and the very clean, comfortable room and bathroom. We felt quite lost in the big city of Amsterdam, but Ben at the reception welcomed us with so much warmth and was very helpful. Great location - Leiseplein! Real value for money for the price we paid. Thank you so much. Renee Kritzinger
The small light bulb of one of the bedside lamps was not working. I could not get the hairdryer in the bathroom to work, but honestly these two small things did not in any way make our stay less comfortable. I would really recommend this hotel for great value for money.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good. It is in an excellent position to explore Amsterdam.
We would have liked to pay by 'chip and pin' rather than cash.

The very friendly staff, the nice breakfast and the good location
The matras was a bit hard and old, a good bed is important for a citytrip to recover from a day sightseeing!

This hotel was in a nice area and very quiet, however it is not within walking distance to the center of town, but close to the trams that can take you there.
For budget minded travelers it was ok, small and cramped. The mattress was very bad to sleep on ( replace )

Excellent location, staff goes out of their way to help, breakfast was healthy and filling, wifi in room, try getting a canal side room for Better view
Bit cramped in the corridors , rooms are spacious though, couple of desktop pc in the lobby would have been of great help
